Today, Friday 07 December 2018 The Portsmouth Distillery Company made history by being the first distillery on the island of Portsea to distil rum.
After several weeks of fermentation this innovative product has come to fruition. The rum will be finished today and bottled in the morning (08 Dec 18) ready to be rushed down to Palmeston road in Southsea, to the Love Southsea market for sale. As 1968 is 50 years in the making, only the first 50 bottles off the still will be available for purchase on the market!
