Each bottling of 1812 is a single cask release: disgorged, diluted, filtered and bottled, thereby maintaining the 100% organic purity of the spirit. A truly exceptional (& history-making) aged rum!

The name ‘1812’ pays tribute to the year Fort Cumberland was completed. After decades of planning and construction, the fort became a formidable coastal defence, protecting Portsmouth and its naval heritage for generations to come.
