Unaged white Rum made from sugar cane producing a more aromatic flavour.

After many years of drinking Rums from all over the world, and running The Rum Club, we have built up a very keen understanding of what makes a good Rum. 1968 is the result.

A deliberate mix of different types and styles of Rum, using fine sugar cane from Central America, instead of molasses, to produce a sweet, flavoursome spirit.

Tasting notes:

Rich bouquet of ripe bananas and delicious dried fruit.

Smooth enough to just drink on ice. Floral enough to make a fabulous Daquiri, T-Punch or rock a Mojito.

I stumbled across this Rum while out with a friend in Portsmouth a couple of years ago, I couldn’t believe my eyes, so had to try it ! It is fantastic, taste is amazing and it’s so smooth. It was difficult to find in the shops and my son bought me a bottle last Christmas after I raved about it ! Now I order directly from the distillery, delivery within a few days and well packaged.
I would highly recommend this rum as it has fast become a favourite. Hopefully one day I ll get to visit the distillery! .

Fantastic white rum. I’m also a fan of the Portsmouth Distillery’s Forum botanical rum, but this rum is exceptional. Thoroughly recommend to any rum fans. Goes brilliantly with a decent ginger ale (we use Folkingtons), but is equally lovely on his own with some ice.
